Checkweighing for Manufacturing and Shipping Facilities
The checkweighing system is an automated system used to weigh bags, boxes, and other items that are loaded onto trucks or cargo ships. The system measures the weight of the materials and then records it in a database. This information can be used to calculate shipping costs, optimize storage space, and identify problem areas in the supply chain.
There are three main types of checkweighing systems: electronic scale; manual scale; and mobile scales that can be moved to different locations within a manufacturing facility or shipping yard. The most common type of checkweighing system is a mechanical scale that uses a spring-loaded platform (called a beam) with a movable weight attached. A small tare weight is placed on top of this beam so that only the total weight will be measured. When you load up your product onto this beam, it will register its weight on one side of the beam while leaving out any air pockets or other material inside your product container.
If you have any questions about your current checkweighing system or need help choosing which type is best suited for your needs, please feel free
One set of check weigher can be devied into three section
First section we called it speed up section or infeed section
Production flow is from this section then to next
The second section is a core of the checkweigher machine
we called it weight section .The load cell been installed inside this section
all stastic or dynamic weight is based on this core section weight section
The last section we named is rejection stection
from this section product will flow into next step of produce or beeing rejection
from total line
Viking design three kinds of rejection system that suitable for you different request
Mianly checkweigher rejection system are :
Air Blast, Pusher, Single or Double Flipper/Divert Arm and Drop Flap
