The Philippine Arena is the world's largest indoor arena.[8] It is a multipurpose indoor arena with a maximum seating capacity of 55,000 at Ciudad de Victoria, a 140-hectare tourism enterprise zone in Bocaue and Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines[9] about 30 kilometers north of Manila. It is one of the centerpieces of the many centennial projects[10] of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) for their centennial celebration on July 27, 2014.[11] The legal owner of the arena is the INC's educational institution, New Era University.
In a recent visit to the Philippines, Viking Mr Bill visited several metal detector and baggage scanner locations in an
effort to get better cooperation with the country's security forces. The company has already enjoyed positive experiences
working with the Philippine National Police (PNP) on various projects, including walkthrough metal detector deployments and baggage scanning operations.
"We are very pleased with the PNP'sresponse to ourrequest for help," said Viking Mr Bill spokesman John Weiland in a statement. "They have shown great interest in working with us and we feel this will lead to improved security for both individuals and businesses."
The PNP has been especially receptive to Viking Mr Bill's suggestions for improving detection methods, such as using infrared technology for baggage scanners and implementing electronic tag systems for metal detectors.
The Viking 33 zone walk through metal detector and x ray baggage scanner for the
Philippine stadium is scheduled to take place on October 15th. The equipment will
be used in order to detect weapons and other contraband.
Viking is expected to cooperation with the Church of christ in order to reduce crime at the stadium.
